Col 2:15 [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display {and} public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him {and} in it [the cross].
One thing God spoke to me is that we too often get stuck on one revelation...We refuse to continue to grow and understand the whole picture...
God have me crying out today about a Truth that needs to be looked at a little longer and more in depth....The CROSS.... Do we understand the Cross like we say?....I have heard much teaching on the blood of Jesus...The blood have been an excuse of many not changing..If you have not heard it PRAISE THE LORD...but I have....I have heard people say I can not stop sinning that is why I have the blood...and even more...
I know that there is power in the Blood of Jesus...I know that God have a purpose for the blood and in that purpose it is where the blood holds the power...What can wash away my sin..NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS...What Can make me Whole again nothing but the blood of Jesus....No other precious thing I know....YES LORD, THANK YOU JESUS...
Staying in he Truth of the Word the blood can wash away my sins but it will not change my OLD MAN.....The lack of Truth about Salvation have left the house in a mess....The blood is for my sins and the cross is for my flesh....
Only those that have died to the power of the Cross, can preach the power of the Cross...Resurrection comes after the death...
Col 3:3 For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.
Why God talking about all this hiding in Him....Well you have be Hidden in Christ to first to live your NEW REAL LIFE....Your life in hidden inside of Christ..
Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings {and} trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship {and} in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation).
We did not even DESERVE THIS, and yet we molest it...We take the cross with no regard and make it non effective....
Rom 6:6 We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective {and} inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin.
What do away with our OLD MAN?....Nailing it to the cross....Sin lies with in the body you can be washed with the Blood but sin can still thrive if it the body is not nailed to the cross....If you will not present your body as the living sacrifice that God so wants....
1 Cor 1:17 For Christ (the Messiah) sent me out not to baptize but [to evangelize by] preaching the glad tidings (the Gospel), and that not with verbal eloquence, lest the cross of Christ should be deprived of force {and} emptied of its power {and} rendered vain (fruitless, void of value, and of no effect).
Where is the preaching of the Cross...Is the gospel that served watered down because we refuse to stand in holiness about the power of the cross...Is My Crying lacking the power of The CROSS of Christ....With out the Cross then it is fruitless, void...of no value....
1 Cor 1:18 For the story {and} message of the cross is sheer absurdity {and} folly to those who are perishing {and} on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the [manifestation of] the power of God.
MY VISION I WANT TO SHARE..
God showed me a dusty road...It had a broad trail but narrow to walk print in the sand....As I was walking the trail print God spoke to me..." My Son left that there for you to follow. It was made by the cross that He carried." He then told me to pick up my cross and follow until the end of the trial....As I was walking I became tired...had to rest, and wanted to know where my destination was...I looked and my journey was long all I saw was the trail that was before me..... then "Public Crucifixion" I heard....I began to weep..."Why does it have to be public why do all have to see"...and God answered "so I will get the Glory:....That which you carry is that which you will die too"....
Phil 3:10 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]
Phil 3:11 That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].
With out the full understanding of the cross man have developed as system for deliverance that lacks power...Man just try to suppress sin by overcoming it...we begin to say we will not do it any more but with out the cross you have no power over sin....I get so many emails about PRAY FOR ME TO BE STRONGER IN MY WEAKNESS.... They associate the failure of overcoming with lack of human strength instead of lack of the power of The Cross....
See we need the blood and the cross of Jesus...We need to allow them both to work in the sermons of salvation....The Blood Cleans us up while the Cross Keep us up....
OH GLORY...GLORY YES LORD....PRAISE YOU JESUS....You are worthy...I praise YOU...YES LORD....Halleluiah....
